Al> From what I know about it so far is that ZT does do both IPv4 and IPv6, we've currently got IPv6 working fine in the tqwNet ZT net, figuring out an IPv4 schema is yet to be decided, in that matching IP addresses to node addresses is gonna be tricky seeing as you can't have 1337 as part of an IPv4 address. I can't remember what I thought of for an IPv4 schema, perhaps Deon can remember, but it was something like 10.133.7X.YYY where X is the HUB number, i.e. 3 for your's (1337:X(=3)/YYY) so that would mean your HUB could have 10.133.73.100, Deon's could be 10.133.72.100 and mine could be 10.133.71.100... this would work for IPv4. You are correct in that it's a VPN of sorts. It allows us to have direct communication over the public internet, but secured. I would think that our HUB's could be set to use both IPv4+IPv6 and we could define locally on each HUB how it communicates with the other HUB's. I have set my HUB to use IPv6 to communicate with Deon's over ZT, and left it using the IPv4 public internet for your's and any nodes that would use the HUB would be able to use public IPv4/6 or ZT private IPv6 if they prefer. I think we could definitely use IPv4 through ZT too, using my suggestion above or something else, the main thing is to use ZT as the "backbone" connectivity for the HUB's to send/receive stuff between each other. Hope this all makes sense, and Deon please correct me where I have mis-quoted information. --- |14Best regards, |11Ch|03rist|11ia|15n |11a|03ka |11Me|03aTLoT|11io|15N |07ÄÄ |08[|10eml|08] |15ml@erb.pw |07ÄÄ |08[|10web|08] |15www.erb.pw |07ÄÄÄ¿ |07ÄÄ |08[|09fsx|08] |1521:1/158 |07ÄÄ |08[|11tqw|08] |151337:1/101 |07ÂÄÄÙ |07ÄÄ |08[|12rtn|08] |1580:774/81 |07ÄÂ |08[|14fdn|08] |152:250/5 |07ÄÄÄÙ |07ÄÄ |08[|10ark|08] |1510:104/2 |07ÄÙ --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A43 2019/03/02 (Linux/64) * Origin: The Quantum Wormhole, Ramsgate, UK. bbs.erb.pw (1337:1/101) .
