I went to college on the peninsula, and we had a decent sized
earthquake. The out-of-state people were clamoring under desks, the
Californians were calmer:

"That felt like a 4.0. What do you think?"

"Definitely higher, I'd reckon a 4.5..."

The overhead lights hadn't stopped moving yet.
