I know, right?  In the 15 years I've lived here, I NEVER get used to it. I miss 







































































































































Colorado so much for that reason alone (ok, not to mention the food and 
mountains ...) The worst I had growing up in Colorado seemed to be snow and a 
lot of lightening during afternoon storms that would ominously appear over the 
rockies and slow crawl toward Denver each afternoon during the summer.

That is absolutely insane.  I know they say to do that -- look for a bridge, 
find a ditch, etc.... I'd have reacted in the moment by hitting the gas and 
trying to out run it haha!  I've been fortunate to not have experienced one 
while in a vehicle, I'm not sure which would be worse a car or home.  Crazy 
stuff for sure.  We don't have a basement, after this past weekend, I'm 
considering having a tornado shelter installed.
