I think this is why the likes of Me> dosemu(2) are more practical to run dos based games in Linux or Windows Me> 64-bit...? I'll check out dosemu .. I like DOSBox but I don't want to have to run my entire BBS within it's emulation. I had a friend try that and stated it didn't work very well or some other issues they had with it. He switched to an older XP 32 bit machine to run the BBS instead. I like the power of the PC I'm running the BBS on, and will eventually convert it over to linux, but until then, thought I'd ask .... I'm not to hip on the idea of losing 4mb of ram by downgrading to the 32bit version of Windows 10 (or however much ram it's limited to, I just know its easily half what my system has ..) Me> Just thinking out loud really here, I don't run too many games Me> locally... I find it more convenient just to use bbslink lol. Lazy? Me> perhaps, low effort? sure. At least it works =). Me> Lol! Me to totally. I love BBSlink and Door Party .. however there are some games I have downloaded that I don't see on either, that I'd like to get running just to check them out. SO .. I'd love an easy solution to drop into and out of when the game is (probably rarely) played. -tG --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A47 2020/09/25 (Windows/32) * Origin: The Underground [@] www.theunderground.us:10023 (1337:3/132) .
