I work in technology, and I have a tech blog that comes up when you look up my name, since one of the first things a prospective employer or client will do is google you. If the first thing they pull up is a bunch of smart things I wrote, all the better. :) I'd love to switch to a static site generator - I'm running Wordpress for all my sites, and it's grown into overkill for small sites now - but it's what I know. ....
