I've observed the same thing. I just assume the occasional odd line of invalid 
text comes through.

Since it was last updated 2 years ago, I think it's a safe bet it's out of 
date. :)

The /users /chatters and /whoon commands do list who's in the room.

Did some tinkering today. For now, I started by giving the nicklist on the 
right a max width of 0. I'd prefer to just remove it, but it seems certain / 
functions depend on whether certain names exist in the list. I'll have to look 
into it more.

Now that there's more screen real-estate, I went ahead and added a timestamp to 




















































































































































the left of new messages that scroll in.

So far it looks pretty decent.

I have a user who stops by a few times a week and idles in MRC. I'll see how 
things go for him with these changes in place and see if he offers any 
feedback.
