Well, my optimism was misplaced.  I didn't get to start moving back into the 
machine until around 9/15, took a few days off work, and came back today.  
Started working as normal, everything is going great, and then a couple of 
hours in the machine failed in exactly the same way.

Grrrrr.

Moved back to my temporary machine and contacted Purism.  "Oh, that's weird. 
What did you have plugged into USB?"

Why do I have a feeling this is going to be a problem?  As of right now, I 
wouldn't recommend the Librem 14, although it's nice to be able to work with 
real humans for support.
