Ah, thats neat - I didn't know Apple supplied the software side to allow users to setup fusion stuff that wasn't stock. Interesting. For me, I just need to replace the HSS with an SSD, but haven't because its an iMac and fairly sucky to pull apart. At that point, tho, I'd have two SSDs in the machine and I think MacOS would still let me access the small 32GB one thats currently in the fusion setup.
