Check my gemlog for details. The biggest issue with it was that there's no drivers (at least not without doing some kernel hackery I couldn't be bothered with) for the wireless card. I have my work-issued MBP 15 (2018 or 2019) begging to get Linux, but as the start of this thread indicates, I need a backup work machine for when my primary goes down. If I hadn't fallen back to the Mac, I would've been on a Latitude E7440 from 2014 :D. (actually, still a decent machine with 16GB and a good SSD, as long as you keep the tabs down and avoid Teams). I'll give a full update once it's arrived, but Purism confirmed my diagnosis and swapped the motherboard on my L14, so we'll see how that goes. It's supposed to be back on my doorstep this afternoon.
