I prefer Debian or Alpine for CTs, depending on what I'm doing... Alpine can create a VERY light setup, but I prefer the stability and package manager of Debian for larger 'things'... I have my SpeedTest CT on Alpine - it just logs internet speeds and sips hardly anything from the PVE cluster at all... but Debian runs my docker/portainer CT and runs some 30+ containers inside of it to run my homelab applications - from an entire .torrent stack to HomeAssistant to Jellyfin and all the other things; having Debian underneath all that stuff sets me at ease b/c I know it will always have the updates I need and not introduce anything too 'new' that might mess things up... Thats just me - following. |07p|15AULIE|1142|07o |08......... --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A49 2024/05/29 (Linux/64) * Origin: 2o fOr beeRS bbs>>>20ForBeers.com:1337 (1337:3/129) .
