I wouldn't if they have any spinning disks in, disks like to be on the level or 90 degrees, any other angle would prolly shorten the lifespan of them, just thinking gyroscopically.

Yeah my poweredge's are all like 19" deep or something crazy, you have to get deep deep racks to house them. I went with an open frame type rack (no closed in sides. You can prolly get away with a quarter height full depth rack but you might wanna expand so I would suggest at least a half height full depth.
