Today is the Official 1-Year Anniversary of the Halls of Valhalla Relaunch.
   
HOV went live on 10/4/2021, after a brief 29 year hiatus from 1992 - 2021. 
Originally launched in ~1989 as THOV or The Halls of Valhalla, this BBS ran   
inititally on a shared voiceline, only at night.  Started on WWIV, on a 8086   
IBM PC, with 2 360k floppy drives, it eventually migrated to a hot-shit 386   
with 65 megs of HD running Telegard, and later Renegade.  I took it down around 









































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































late 1992 when I decided girls were more fun then running a BBS.  But I was 
still active in the Southern California BBS scene until college (and the 
internet) in 1995.

Relaunched during Covid, on Synchronet, this BBS is now hosted on a cloud
instance at Linode, and is maintained by me as a way to relive those earlier 
days and stay in touch with a new community still thriving on BBSes today.
