I must have missed reading anything about this incident, anyway it sounds like massive speculation on the reports part to say something like that. I do remember that the Green Bank, WV radio telescope said the the short duration signal was in the Low C-band frequency... a much lower frequency that is still used today on your communication satellites like the Ku-band used for receiving direct-TV and dish network now-a-days. Anyway, the source was from billions of light years away, didn't last long enough to pin-point an exact source location.
