God I miss Kh> German engineering. i watch some series like the flash, arrow, the newsroom (quiet good as hell!) scropion and some other stuff in the original language and there is much influence of germany if they talking about hightech products or solid constrution. like "you can drive through the wall they had german steel in it" hmm i'm sure the US-steel is also a good obstacle to drive with a car through the wall. and it's a bit hard to imagine that our engineering is not setup to efficiency. you shot mans to the moon! (with a german rocket-engineer... i think i got now) we have the ideas and you build it big enough that it'll work and impress the world*g Kh> We have two different connections also, in most places I've been, yes. good to know, it's very nice to exchange some knownledge between continents. why the hell tom jennings have never got a nobel prize for the invention of the fidonet? yeah, ok... i'm drifting away :) Kh> What kind of fuel cells? Are you talking solar banks? I remember Kh> seeing mats for solar banks; I almost picked one up for the beautiful Kh> BMW that I had while I was over there. I think it was just for battery Kh> charging, though... a fuel cell (in german brennstoffzelle) is a chemical reaction device what produced electric power. basicly it works with H2, and O2. the anode is H2 and the cathode is O2 splittet by electrolyte (ions +powered). works like a lead-car-battery. the reaction of hydrogen (it can also be methane or methyl alcohol) and oxygen (from the air no liquid or cleaned oxygen) produced with help of the electrolyte membrane up to 1volt. in finished deviced more fuel cells are switched together so that you have 12volt and can use a inverter to gain the power up to 230volt if needed. the company EFOY sell this kind of fuel cell device where you can just put a default powerplug into it and the light is burning or the coffee is boiling. the best on it: NO exhaust that will kill you :) emissions free. the efoy comfort fuel cell can reach up to 105 watt (210 Ah a day) rund from -20 till +40 degree (C) you can plug 12V batteries on it and from there you can use a inverter and power all your stuff you need. with 0.9 liter per KWH you can run the fuelcell 24h a days with just 2 liter fuel. one 10Liter fuelcan (about 35euros). but it is just methyl alcohol in the fuelcans. there are a few other ways to earn this fluid ;) you have not to buy it from efoy.. http://www.efoy-comfort.com/technical-data have a look :) (:.
