Nice! I wish I could say I had the resources to be working with anything like that yet... At my last place, I had been working with creating a fresnel lens array that was going to work as a heater... Had plans for a lot of photovoltaic arrays, also. Everything has been rough since I had to move away from there, though. Still working on establishing enough baseline income to be able to do anything for myself. What area do you live in, if you don't mind me asking? God that'd be an awesome set of resources to have. I've also thought about a parabolic trough style oil-based heat battery to set up for heating and/or energy production, though that idea was still pretty experimental. All I've really got now for electric is enough battery juice to keep my survival tome machine active for about 15 minutes once the power is cut off... I had a lot more, but most of it right now falls down to skills and tools. :P I still need to get more used to what this area has to offer for survival resources. The pacific nw, that is. Right now I'm still only used to how to survive on the plains, which is great for cold weather survival, but I'm pretty lost as far as what to do in the woods other than what boyscouts taught me so far. This temperate rain forest is totally new to me. -=- Borg Burgers: We do it our way; your way is irrelevant. --- SBBSecho 2.27-OpenBSD * Origin: Tinfoil Tetrahedron BBS - 9:91/11 SurvivalNet (9:91/11) .
