For the conspiracies i am not sure... some look pretty real :) For the paranoia and stockpiling i agree. At first i was something like that, but after seeing how hopeless this is and how much energy and money you waste, at the same time that other people are starving, i reconsidered things a lot. es> I am of the opinion that shit happens, and that's the way things go. I am shit happens... sure... but it doesn't heart to be prepared in some level... between logical boundaries i mean. :) a good first aid kit at home, car, office and basic A'Aid skills are enough for many situations. From there someone can be prepared for other things also, like natural phenomena, which aren't very rare lately, worldwide. es> prepared for "typical" types of things (gun to kill the robbers, wear es> seat belt when driving, look both ways before crossing the street) but es> I'm not about to stockpile MREs and potable water just in case some es> unexpected turn of events happens. This is a "trap"... too many "preppers" are preparing for ex: alien invasion, but they don't prepare for a car accident, a home accident, a choking from food etc, which are normal and everyday dangers in our lives. I see people spending hundreds of dollars in expensive stuff, that they don't use even once or they train their selves in gun shootings, without knowing how to treat a would.
