Sorry about your luck, My UPS dead years ago from old age. Never did replace
it. When it happens here.. it pretty much a crap shoot what will survive.
Most of the time everything will power up fine when the power returns.

Nope, but I think their a lot like gas generators. I'd shop around for
whatever my basic needs are. Personally would what one that excepts a larger
size propane tank for longer outages without needing to change the tank.

Well I'm grateful to hear any kind of rambling on this network. Losing the
power that makes life easier is something we all take for granted. You living 
in AZ with all that Sunshine.. If I had deep pockets loaded with cash.. I'd
look into buying a Solar generator from the guys at..

By-the-way my day was not so good either, while running my weed eater. I got
into a nest of yellow jacket wasp.. and they ate me alive. Would post links to
photo pics.. but you would all probably piss your pants from laughing so hard
