Subj : Nashville Explosion To : All From : Bob Roberts Date : Sat Dec 26 2020 12:20:20 By now I'm sure everyone is aware of the Explosion in Nashville on Christmas Day morning. The event is unique because the it originated from a parked RV which played recorded messages over loudspeakers for 30 minutes prior to the explosion. From what I've gathered so far: - The RV showed up around 1:00am on Christmas morning based on traffic camera footage released by police. - It parked in front of an AT&T switching / data center in a touristy area of Nashville, which was thankfully deserted on Christmas morning. - Early in the morning the RV played a recording of automatic gunfire, the gunfire recording repeated at least 3 times. As reported by a woman who lived across the street and called the police. - Following the recording of gunfire a recording played in a man's voice stating "This vehicle will explode in 15 minutes." Then played over and over as a count down. The woman left with her family at T-11 minutes. - Other eyewitnesses and a video posted on Twitter show the recording switching to "This area must be evacuated now. If you can hear this message, evacuate now." - The RV then exploded causing widespread damage to buildings and the area. - Nashville police report the finding of human remains. The recording was clearly designed to attract police attention and move people away from the area. Was it simply an elaborate suicide? A diversion tactic? An attempt to take out regional communications? AT&T internet, and 911 services were disrupted for much of the day across several immediate states. Airtraffic at Nashville airport was shutdown due to connectivity issues for flight control infrastructure.
