Drug Dealers as Murderers For Hire

In Canada we have several hundred deaths from drug overdose every single day.  
I would suggest that people who deal drugs that result in the death of their 
clients should be charged with murder.  I mean, they deal drugs, people die, 
and this, from my simple perspective that this is at the end of the day, 
murder.  What I do no understand is why drug dealers would care so little 
about the health of their clients, as when you've got a business you want 
clients to keep coming back so that the dealers can make more profit from 
repeat purchasers.  Very strangely though, the dealers really seem not to care 
who dies.  With this situation one can get the proper understanding of how 
drug dealers can be re-purposed into assassins.  One would just sell a target 
some drugs that are either tainted or totally pure, causing death by poison or 
overdose.  Another option would be the drug dealers trafficking in Rohipnol 
("roofies") at which point they could make an easy kill of the target as they 
would be totally without the ability to even stand up by themselves.  Or if 
they can still stand, they would be doped up willing to follow the lead of the 
attacker.

If you kill a person, apart from self defense, you are a murderer.  If it is 
one way or the other that doesn't matter, if you cause the death of someone by 
your product that is reckless: if the cause of the death is the drug dealer, 
then that drug dealer is a murderer.  When you murder you murder; the method 
of the murder is irrelevant.  If you sell a product that kills people you are 
guilty of murder, its as simple as that.  The judicial word for this may be 
"man slaughter."  However, a more direct re-purposing of drug dealers into 
killers is not a far stretch.  I've heard that for $4,000 you can order a hit 
on someone by a drug dealer or their associates.  This is serious.  These 
people will kill you.
