Have you ever considered the parallels between the CIA with a secret society?
Both have secret oaths doing secret things working in secret.  If you go
against the society there are real world consequences just like revealing
secrets of the intelligence agencies.  There are secret signals to identify
members of the organizations.  Both ventures deal with a significant amount
of money for services rendered.  Both are elite clubs.  Something to think
about...
