Subj : RE: 1984 Twitter World changing to something else To : ALL From : debian Date : Tue Nov 08 2022 12:39:07 I would argue that all social media platforms are orwellian in nature. It is possible for any social media platform to be scraped for data on a given user, especially if the user reveals their identity to the platform. Pseudonyms can also be backtraced to a given user, especially if the pseudonym is used commonly by that user. I myself don't post anything on social media that I wouldn't say in public, but even that will give insights into the persons thoughts, beliefs, plans, and ideas. If you are going to post on a social media platform, be very selective about what you are going to say. I don't really buy the whole "we support free speech" narratives that platforms like parler and Gab advertise. Even Gab has limits on speech (you can't call for violence for example). 73, de KG7UJH Debian How ya gonna do it?
