While the site may offer some good information on SSL/TLS (I haven't looked),
I'm curious why anyone would use anything but Let's Encrypt at this point
unless you're a high level enterprise site and want an EV cert, which will cost
 an arm and a leg anyway.

Let's Encrypt is 100% free and runs a HUGE portion of the web now. Just need
one of the *many* ACME compatible clients or such to use it -- they also offer
wildcard certs these days.
