Subj : EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard To : All From : warmfuzzy Date : Thu Jun 14 2018 03:19:01 I've had some great success with EaseUS in recovering data from drives. It can retrieve deleted files, directories, and even entire partitions. I highly recommend it with a 5/5 rating. This was suggested to me by Pequito and boy was he ever right. This software is amazing. I used "ddrescue" and EaseUS to recover a physically damaged USB stick. I used ddrescue to make a map and recover the data from the drive. It brute-forced the read of the entire drive and then I used "dd" to send the image onto a USB stick. The drive was physically damaged; it could only read a small amount of data at a time and then it would fail, but eventually I retreived *every* piece of data off of a seriously damaged USB stick. And I mean *every* piece of data. It worked wonders so I figured I'd share it with everyone here. So first I recovered the data with ddrescue Then I transferred the image file to a new usb stick with dd Then I recovered the data using EaseUS which pieced everything together again Best regards, warmfuzzy --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A39 2018/04/21 (Linux/64) * Origin: Sp00knet Master Hub [PHATstar] (700:100/0) .
