Hi Mr. S.,

Okay, the setup is rather simple.  Here is what you'll need: AzuraCast, FileZilla, a Web browser, MP3 music/audio files, and a high bandwidth Internet connection.  My setup is the following:

A vServer from ionos.ca (ionos.com also works for those outside of Canada).  This provides 400 Mbit up and 400 Mbit down with no limits.  That is probably the most important kit that you'll want for your radio station.  Ionos has a package called their VPS Linux L setup.  It has 4 vCores, 8 G RAM, 240 G SSD, and 400 Mbit synchronous.  They've got a 6 month discount on that server when you purchase it.  It will cost you $15/month for six months and will go up to $20/month after the six month period has expired.

Now as for the software, the BEST hosting platform for Internet Audio Streams is without a doubt AzuraCast, because it is Libre (open source freedomware) that you won't need to spend money on.  If you really like the software then you are encouraged to send some money to its developer, but this is by no means required.

To be honest a good friend of mine setup my AzuraCast instance and he did a fantastic job at it.  He was able to setup LetsEncrypt with all the bells and whistles that I needed to get these stream stations go online.
