In the news a while back it was revealed that a company is selling phone exploits that can infect a phone by simply calling it, without hav't to click accept or willingly download anything.  This type of attack has been dubbed the Zero Click exploit or something like that.  My suggestion: use a flip phone or a landline, or even Skype for example.
