Saw this. And there are similar projects call LibraryBox or the like. What is
really fun, is that some portable routers that support OpenWRT can be used
with these, so you can have a robust little mini disconnected net. Also, I
saw a cool similar project that allows anonymous chat and filesharing, so you
set up in a physical location, keep it in your bag, let everyone crowd around
and share (like a 2600 meetup) and get the hell out of there. Don't need to
take it out of your bag if using a portable router (or set it up on a Pi with
a decent wireless dongle). 

Honestly, it would be fun to just embed this with a Pi Zero somewhere and let
it just live for months and months without being physically found. See what
happens. Seen what messages are left.
