Well, Old Testament is very clear about the rules of engagement in a war.
"Eye for an Eye, Tooth for an Tooth"

The New Testament is all crap about forgiving, while the world is brutal anyway... so very contradicting and inconsistent between what the book teaches and world functions.

Me born in Catholic Poland find it amusing as my national culture is very focused on being vengeful, while very religious...
