There have been many attacks on Christians throughout the world in this past
quarter.  It seems when Muslims or Hindus get attacked it is all through the
news, however when its Christians the media looks the other way.  There are
two ministries that help the persecuted church out, those that really stand
out for their absolutely superb work.  Those are the Voice of The Martyrs
(VOM) and Open Doors

The Open Doors organization has been smuggling Holy Bibles into communist
countries for many decades, while Voice of The Martyrs directly helps those
who are being persecuted for thieir faith, offering the basic needs of life
and shelter and sanctuary.  There are people out there who behead Christians
just because they are Christian and will not deny their faith.  These times
call for all Christians to stand up for whatever rights they currently have
so that things won't get worse.  I encourage you to volunteer with the above
listed organizations as these charities can use whatever passionate workers
they can get.

Open Doors also trains workers in Muslim-background nations and works to
protect Christian ministers to further their work and the Great Commission. 
It can be so exciting to work clandestinely for the furtherance of The
Kingdom.  Its like being a secret agent for God.  Real lives are in the
balance, so what can you do about Christian persecution?  Do something.
