Subj : RE: Islam To : NuSkooler From : apam Date : Thu Nov 02 2017 02:18:22 Nu> I want to point out the same applies to Christians (and many others). The Nu> Bible is an extremly violent book - including the "direct word of God" Nu> and (His) actions. This is true.. It's why I would say, far better to learn about christianity from christians. Just as reading the qu'ran without any indocrination is silly. You should learn islam from Muslims. You wouldn't tell a random of the street to read a paper on quantam dynamics and ask his opinion. It's silly, he doesn't understand the necisary science to form a worthwhile opinion. This is the same as go read the qu'ran you will learn how violent it is, when most muslims are non violent people. The fact of the matter is, that the political unrest that brought terrorism has anything to do with islam is because it occured in the middle east where the predominat religion is islam. If it were in the west, we'd be talking about how christianity is so very violent etc. Terrorism as we have seen is politically motivated, religion is just a tool they use for recruitment. Religion is easy to bend and manipulate. Any religion. Just look at all the 'christian' cults out there. That doesn't mean that all who follow that religion should be considered violent. Many christians are good people, and do good works. So are many muslims. Some christians commit acts of terror, so do some muslims. Warmfuzzy, you say 'you know they're being decieved' What if I said *I KNOW* you are being deceived also. I know it for fact as I was deceived too for some time. I swore I wouldn't post in here as it might make me angry. But instead it just made me sad. Oh well.
