Subj : The Ukranian-Russian Red Line

There is currently a red line in regards to Ukraine and Russia.  If NATO enters the war this could be WWIII.  If NATO does not attack Russia directly, but rather gives weapon systems to Ukraine, this would be acceptable.  But if the Ukrainian alliance ever brings the war into Russia proper, Putin will take that as, in his eyes, it being an existential threat to his "territorial integrity."  If NATO goes to war against Russia, Russia will respond quite possibly with limited nuclear force.  It is imperative that Ukraine defends itself as much as possible, without bringing war to Russia Proper.  Putin believes that he has some sort of secret knowledge which is the reason for the war.  He also wants the USSR/CCCP reunited and sees Ukraine as belonging to Russia, that they are "one people."

Arming Ukraine to the teeth is acceptable though waging an offensive war against Russia in Russia's own territory is an extremely bad move.
