There is a new face in the Scene of disruptive technologies.  Josiah Zayner is a former employee of NASA and a graduate in bio-physics.  He left his job and started a startup that allows people to do use home gene editing technology for anyone to order.  Its meant for anyone who is crazy enough to do a full-body gene modification.  He injected himself on a live stage with some gene modding technology to give him a boost of muscles to beef himself up.  This guy is the face of the modern bio-hacking movement.  Imagine being able to enhance yourself, or keep telemers young to stop or significantly reduce aging.

To learn more about this type the bio-hackers name in YouTube.com and you'll see just how wild this tech is.  It is very very dangerous, but some people do not care.  It hasn't been regulated yet, so if you want this kit you may not be able to in the near future.  The kit is sold for less than a grand in USD$

The type of gene modding that this technology uses is called Crispr Cas9, again typing that into YouTube.com will get you some excellent results.

If nothing else this should make you intrigued and interested in this new technology.  Dangerous, Yes, All bad, No.
