Subj : Comfort Women [Japan WWII] To : All From : warmfuzzy Date : Tue Feb 12 2019 19:32:39 Slavery has not been abolished in the world, to this present day there is sexual slavery throughout the globe. The difference is that slavery is generally considered illegal, though its still practiced and not widely prosecuted. During World War II there were sex slaves, euphemistically called "Comfort Women." These people served the sexual desires of the Japanese Army during the war years of the 40's. Actual numbers of these slaves is not certain though it ranges between tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands. In the present day there are two main organizations that fight slavery in all forms: The first is Amnesty International and the second is the International Justice Mission (IJM). Amnesty International is secular (non-religious/faith), with IJM being a Christian mission. I used to be a student who worked to further the goals of Amnesty International but found out that they were pro-choice to murder babies in relation to abortion, so I switched my support to the International Justice Mission. The sites for these two organizations are: Amnesty International: www.amnesty.org International Justice Mission: www.ijm.org Do you know of any sexual slavery happening in the present day? Its a serious problem, whether its approved by governments or not. No one should be sexually abused regardless of the situation. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A39 2018/04/21 (Linux/64) * Origin: Sp00knet Master Hub [PHATstar] (700:100/0) .
