This is just going to be a short thought-dump.  It is a simple observation
that I think rings very true.  If someone is willing to lie for you, as an
employee of yours who as a job lies often, then they will also lie to you if
doing so seems convenient at the time.

In short: a person who will lie on your behalf is a person who is also willing
to deceive or lie to you if "the circumstances are right."
