Subj : My Paranormal Experience To : All From : metalhead Date : Fri Oct 06 2017 01:03:28 I believe in ghosts. I've shared my story on BBSs before, but I'll briefly do it again to see if anyone finds it interesting. While driving through the mountains in SE Albuquerque, what I'll call a ghost appeared in front of me & 3 coworkers while I was driving our work van. It was an old woman, dressed in drab clothing, and she was sweeping the road in front of us with a corn-husk broom. I stopped the van, and waved to her with a smile, but she didn't waive back. I turned my head toward my coworkers while I made a quick comment about her awkwardly sweeping the road. When I turned my head back, perhaps 2 seconds later, she had vanished, broom and all. There was nowhere for her to run to; we were in a very open-view piece of desert land, in the most isolated area of a heavily fortified air force base. She DIDN'T run. She was a ghost, she vanished in front of the eyes of 2 of my co-workers, the 3rd co-worker wasn't paying attention. She was a ghost who didn't want to be seen by us, but let her guard down for a few seconds. Chills run up and down my body when I revisit this story. I'm totally serious. Also worth mentioning: My co-workers and I were drug tested randomly, and quite frequently. We weren't tripping or anything like that. One possible explanation, is that perhaps dehydration combined with high altitude can be key ingredients in the unmasking of ghosts. We were all a little dry, overworked, and in one of the highest points west of the Mississippi. And all 3 of us saw her sweeping the road. It's not like just one of us is some "medium" who witnessed it. Weird shit. I've tried several times to communicate with others in the world with similar experiences, but nobody answers me. I don't think this happens often. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A31 (Raspberry Pi) * Origin: Alcoholiday / Est. 1995 / alco.bbs.io (700:100/3) .
