A few years back my family was relaxing at my mom's cottage, sitting in the dining room at the table there.  Everything was good, normal, and a real blast.  We had a good meal and were taking it easy.  Suddenly a cup moved seemingly on its own from a flat (not curved or angeled) surface about 5 inches and fell to the ground.  We all saw it clear as day.  There was no doubt that it moved and fell.  It was a strange thing for sure, but it didn't really bother us as we had no context to the event.  We'd never seen anything like it and we didn't know what to make of the occurrence.  I guess we just didn't know how to react to something like that so we didn't do much reacting at all.  It just happened and that was that.  I may never forget how a cup moved almost a half foot to fall to the ground without any obvious source of force on to the cup to produce the movement.  If anything is paranormal, then this certainly was.  I may never forget the day the cup moved on its own...  Could it be a message from someone in a different dimension, a ghost of some sort, a temporal anomaly, maybe an angelic thing making us think upon things such as high strangeness events such as what happens when you die... it could have been a message for various purposes... what that message was I am uncertain, but I do know that it happened and I have no obvious explanation for how the event was set in motion.
