Did some thinking about the physics of this, and remain puzzled how low power 7 hz signals would work? At 7 hz the calculated antenna length for a wire antenna would be 2038 kilometers long (1266 miles long). The resolution for using such a wave for imagining would be so coarse as to be effectively blind. (Guessing a resolution over 100m if not larger). The period of a 7 hz wave is about 143 milliseconds, so not very nimble there. Seems rather improbable. In contrast for XRays which are 30EHz to 30PHz the antenna length is something like 5/10,000ths of a milimeter and the Period is 3.33333333e-17 milliseconds. The Shaman maye have been describing something else, or the labels have been confused.
