The most secure eCurrency and also the one that has the greatest chance of gaining popularity and use is a coin called Monero.  Its name comes from the Esperanto language (a made up language something akin to Latin).  I use the Monero wallet called MyMonero, and my coins would be safe with this software, that is if I invested in Monero which I don't at the moment.  But i expect in the days to come I will eventually make an investment.  Monero is definitely the way to go.
