Do people torrent stuff in the library? Don't they use some kind of browser
monitoring system, to stop people from visiting certain sites?

I haven't torrented for about 3 years now. I used to use mininova.org,
thepiratebay.com, and some other one that is also defunct at this point. Is
torrenting still the way to go, in the same manner it was back then? I feel
rusty, since it's been kind of a long time for me.

I really do miss all the music, movies and books. Especially the
movies/videos. There's a movie that I want to see really bad, but I can't
even pay money to see it, because it's not for sale, but it's 99% likely to be
out there somewhere connected to a torrent.

...The library thing sounds sorta good, but what about public and/or unsecured
wifi? Like McDonalds or something? I've never tried it, mainly because I'm
unsure if the wifi provider(s) can find out anything about me besides my
device?

Another concern is that public and/or unsecured wifi has little bandwidth in
most cases.

And lastly, is there torrent software available for Android? I'd be using my
phone.

And one other detail: Can I encrypt my Android phone with a method similiar
to LUKS?
