Hi metalhead,
Yes, it is built into the OS, to use it you would have to back up your data,
do a full reinstall, select "Encrytped LUKS" during partitioning, enter a
long password and *bang* it works perfectly.  Then you'd copy your data back
and destroy or wipe the backup media.  And no, you don't need to be a
criminal to care about your right to privacy. The Man should not have access
to anything. Privacy is or should be a human right.  People who would trade
privacy for security will have neither.
