If you've read the Left Behind series then you've read some marvellous
fiction, but that book series is just that: fiction.  Most of it is true, but
that people will be raptured before the tribulation is plain false.  There are
three ideas: pre-trib rapture, mid-trib rapture and full-trib rapture. Rapture
meaning the thing that happens when God calls all of his people home and they
go to Heaven.  The left behind series is accurate in how horrible it will be,
well a small fraction of how horrible it will be, but God has a reason for
people to go through the Tribulation (extremely extremely bad times).  That is
that He wants people to be purified as they come through the tribulation having
"washed their robes"  white.  If you're interested in just how bad it will be
consider the case of Reverand Wurmbrand -- a captive in a Romanian prison
during the USSRs rule of communism over that nation. Furthermore, learn about
the tragedies of World War II.  This will be a New World Order,  where unlike
WWII nation were waring against each other there will be one global nation
against Christians and Jews, the people who believe, follow, and have given
their lives to the service of YHWH (God). Imagine a GLOBAL persecution by every
country on Earth where you won't simply be killed, but tortured to the point
where some will probably recant their allegiance to God and receive the Mark of
the Beast (an identifyer that they serve the anti-Christ (Satan's
representative on Earth)).  Scripture tells us that the anti-Christ will come
from Russia ("The House of Rosh").  At that time there will be a form of peace
in the world, the nations having given control over to a one-world
government, one-world religion, a one world financial system, and a united
people throughout the whole Earth.  This is a form of peace that God is
directly against as the people at that time will be united in an Evil plan,
and the peace will appear to exist because those opposing the peace will have
been killed (eventually).  They will be united in that they are all going to
Hell. Christians will be tortured in ways currently unimaginable and will
have to make a choice of staying alive (but receiving the Mark and going to
Hell) or giving up their lives (and enter Heaven but leave the Earth).  Of
course that won't be how their options are presented by the forces of the
anti-christ... it will be presented as an opportunity to join a global
brotherhood of a united humankind.  To get you an undertanding of just how
bad this will be consider the use of drugs: LSD, DMT, Peyote and Scopolamine
but way more powerful than these and it going on day and night until you die.
Imagine the worst thing that could ever happen to you multiplied by that
moment lasting every single minute of every single day for a seven year
period.  It is NOT going to be good.  It will be the release of the evil
spirits formerly trapped in Hell being released upon the world from the great
furnace (Hell) that even stops the Sun from shining through becaue of the
smoke from the furnace coming out of its opening.  It is written in the Holy
Bible that people will seek death but death will evade them.  The torture
will be continual, for as long as the anti-christ's reign goes on for.

What can be done to fight this future?  The Holy Bible says that these things
will not happen before a great falling away from the worship and service of
God, that the more corrupt society gets the closer that end time will be.  So
love God with all of your heart, soul, and mind and love your neighbor as
yourself.  The longer the light of goodness in the world remains the longer it
will be until the great tragedy takes place.
