I learned one thing a few days ago while visiting YouTube's Timeline series. 
Apparently Joseph Goebbels received the death sentence for changing the minds
of the public in NAZI Germany to hate on the Jewish folks to the point of
mass murder.  But Goebbels never directly killed a person, as far as my
research shows, he was put to death for his propaganda, for his point of
view... I'm thinking that the death sentence was a bit harsh, but then if it
wasn't for him there might be many more Jewish people who survived the Final
Solution (the end-game of the NAZIs to murder every possible Jewish person
that they could get their hands on).  Goebbels was just a journalist and
propagandist.  Yes, what he said was horrible, yes, more people died, but are
we willing to be a society that limits the freedom of speech?  If I were in
charge I'd put Goebbels in jail for 25 years and give him the opportunity to
become a Christian and be saved eternally.  The death penalty on J.G.
resulted in his eternal damnation; perhaps that is what people wanted, but as
a Christian I don't want anyone to be lost.  I totally disagree with what
Goebbels did but governments who have a policy of murder are not the kind of
places that I'd like to live in.
