It seems like things are escalating.

- Influenza vaccines were never promised to be highly effective ("but they reduce the severity"), and were just a guess at which strain(s) were going to be prevalent that year.

- HPV is a stupid vaccine.  My daughter's pediatrician pushed us to get it for *years*.  If you're not a ho, and you don't marry a ho, you've got nothing to worry about.

- Of course the mRNA vaccines are based on a technology that was never successfully used in humans before the 'rona.  There's been enough adverse effects that it makes sense to question, but any hint of dissent is quashed and ridiculed.

It's like so many other things today; you take something that was good (vaccines like smallpox, polio, MMR, etc) and use that good will to sell a different product.  If you don't buy the narrative, in some places anyway, you are forced to take it at the barrel of a gun.  We can't have any badthink out there being contagious.
