So, it looks like the kid in British Columbia with H5N1 is showing signs of a mutation called PB2 E627K that suggests human-to-human transmissibility? Has anyone else heard more?

I'm giving up on Twitter, an hoping to find some of the epidemiologists on Mastodon to clear out some of the clutter.
