Shades of Grey rather than binary black/white absolutes.  

This happens in any segmentation exercise, where individuals may be better described as 2/3rds Type-Globalist and 1/3rd Type-Patriot.

Many of these folks not only are actively being "bought" but are dealing with layers of blackmail concerns that make be conflicting as well.

The Spanish tuffed out or killed off occupiers who in some cases had been in Spain for many dozens of generations.
