There is a great resource that I figure you may be interested in.  Its a
government website all about what to do in various disasters and how to stay
safe.  Its affiliated with FEMA (the American Federal Emergency Management
Agency).  Ready.gov is a good place to start on your trip to becoming a
prepper.
