The Freenet Project has undergone a name change and has some new code.  You can check this out at www.hyphanet.org.

Hyphanet (formerly Freenet) is part of the trinity of Darknet communications platforms that include TOR (The Onion Router) and I2P (The Invisible Internet Project).
