If you're looking for some files, actually hundreds of thousands of files, available from a BBS you might consider checking out The Quantum Wormhole or The Bottomless Abyss BBS'.  The Anonymous Archivers File Distro Network is run off a system with 16 TB (2x 8TB) file storage space.  The areas are quite diverse with hundreds of areas.  You are welcome to check it out.  The service is free of course, and is moderated.  Some sample areas include 2600's HOPE conference Vids/MP3s, Lots of Christian stuff, Linux focus, and for all of you that love Sp00knet, there is a second FDN (file distro net) attached to the AnonArchivers.  It is called the Silent Partner FDN and deals with hosting file relating to the underground security scene, in open source intelligence, and a great place to find magazine extracts that relate to the intel community.  Just like Sp00knet, there is only open-source intelligence examined, and there are no leaks exposed on the net, if is 100% legit and a whole lot of fun.
