Some things that I review are new to me and look fancy and intriguing.  Other things are the tried-and-true go-to offerings, one example of this is MEGA.nz.  This service offers you 15 gigs of private cloud storage.  It uses secure crypto at every turn.  You can share files with anyone, allowing for your secure control of your account there, while at the same time being able to select a file or directory to share with people who are outside of the MEGA.nz platform.  It is also reasonably fast.  I have been a user of this service for what seems like a decade now.  This is the state-of-the-art in secure file sharing.  If you pay for the service there are other opportunities presented to you.  An example of such is a time delay for how long you want your shared link of file or directory to be active.  After a set time the link expires and no longer allows file transfer through it.  I intend on using it for the Textmode Magazine's "Echomail Networks" publication to give purchasers of the e-Book version of the magazine, while being sold on eBay.  This way we can provide the digital goods to people while not having the link be accessible to just anyone.

From the MEGA.nz site is their description of the security they provide:

"We use zero-knowledge encryption, also known as user-controlled end-to-end encryption, to protect your data online, even when sharing. This means that only you and those you share information with have the keys to see, read, or listen to that data on MEGA. For anyone else, including MEGA, the data would appear as gibberish, and they would find it impossible to read or understand."

Check MEGA.nz out: I'm not simply providing a prompt for you to explore something new, but with this I have personally used it and am fully happy with it; this is what you want if you want your files kept somewhere else and you want no one other than you to be able to control those files.  Seriously, I'm giving this service a ten out of ten.
