Ah, I have heard and read about DX'ing but was not active in Ham Radio long
enough to take part in any of those events.  When I was active for a short
while I used a Heathkit 5Watt CW transceiver on mostly 80 meters.  Since that
time I have been fascinated by QRP but have not studied to take the exam
again.

By "attractive" are you referring to the equipment (rig), Signal Strength, or
the operator? LOL
