They have done some pretty amazing things over the years. I remember that
Present thing on the US Presidents wall in the oval office that was completely
inert and passive and yet was able to be used to hear conversations in the
room. I think it had to be excited somehow from outside the whitehouse by some
certain frequencies or something.
